Our dogs are our family.

Ravi

Our first PWD came to us when our daughter, Tiffany, moved home to complete college. Ravi (in French meaning enthusiastically happy) was her joyful companion; greeting her when she arrived home from class and staying by her side while she studied for exams. Following Ravi’s passing at the young age of five, we learned the importance of having a complete understanding of the genetics and lineage of our dogs. Ravi was Tiffany’s inspiration to incorporate the healing power of animals in her work as a therapist. Her clients have been benefitting from the calming and loving energy of her dog Rowan, a NEADS service dog, since 2012.

Sirocco

MBISS GCHB CH Far Away Moonstruck Over Manhattan RN MX MXJ MXP3 MXPB MJP3 MJPB XF THD CGCA TKI MAC-1 MAC-2 MAC-3

Sirocco embodied all that a PWD is supposed to be – strong, willful, loyal, intelligent, and hardworking. He was our dog of “firsts” – first grand champion show dog, first agility, rally, and trick dog, first Canine Good Citizen, and first therapy dog (working in hospice). He was happiest when on the move, whether it was in conformation or the agility ring. Tobi-Ann’s love for performance training was ignited with Sirocco by her side. He was a fabulous blend of beauty and brains, winning multiple specialty shows and ranked in the top 20 in 2016. Sirocco was bred by Laura Taft of Far Away PWD Kennel.

Mistral

GCH CH Dandelion's Vent De Mistral RN MXP MJP MFP CGC TKI TDI WWDX MAC-1 MAC-2 BROM, SROM

Mistral is named after the furious northern wind in Provence, France. She is the happiest and silliest dog we’ve known. Downline from champions, Mistral surprised us with her unbelievable work ethic. Since day one, she’s been known to retrieve her food bowl, slippers, cell phones, credit cards, and socks. A mischievous thief, her delivery “to hand” is solely motivated by a cookie. She is commander-in-chief of our household, alerting when anyone approaches the door, and regulating to ensure the other dogs are well behaved. Apart from being a comedian, she is a serious competitor in all performance venues. She is one of the fastest swimmers around. Mistral was bred by Paula and Joe Markiewicz of Dandelion’s PWD Kennel.

Penny Lane

GCH CH Lookout’s Black Smoke Rising RN CGC TKN

Penny Lane came into Nathalie’s life in November 2020. As a puppy she was the curious, confident, and bright-eyed companion Nathalie needed after hospital shifts during the pandemic. From Suzanne and Jan Malick’s Lookout kennel in Oregon, she was Nathalie’s first dog, let alone show dog. And so, this journey began. Penny Lane quickly became comfortable in the show ring, taking after her papa Luciano. In water and in scent class, she proved to be her mother’s daughter with incredible drive. At home she has been found to be affectionate, loyal, and smart as a whip and we are proud to launch Windswept PWDs using Penny Lane as our foundation bitch.

Tempest

Windswept Rising Storm

Red collar boy Rising Storm ( Tempest) was the pick male from Penny’s September litter. He is a curly which is a first for us as we have only had waves up til now. I am enjoying his steady sweet temperament. At a little over 6 months, he has surpassed both Penny and Mistral in height and weight. We think he resembles his sire Fever. We look forward to showing him and competing in various performance venues.
